Wine Summary
Carefully hand-picked and partly whole bunch pressed – very limited cases of The Quickening are produced each year. Grown in Joel Mattschoss’s Eden Valley vineyard, a place littered with ironstone and pink quartz boulders. They retain the heat of the day and pass it on to the vines as the day cools. The bottle is a beautiful dinner party centrepiece – the artwork winning Best Digital Label in the World at the World Label Awards 2020. But, really, it’s the huge 96pt, Gold-medal liquid inside which will have you reaching for another glass! “… striking… Has the X-factor... 96pts. Great Value” (Halliday Wine Companion, James Halliday). Aaron Brasher in The Real Review adds: "… flavours are bright and vibrant, plenty of juicy raspberry, satsuma plum and crunchy acidity. There's lightness, freshness and real drinkability here".
