Knappstein remains one of the Clare Valley's most famous names. Despite changing hands several times, "wine quality has remained excellent" (Halliday) This luscious Gris boasts notes of orange zest, ginger spice and ripe pear combined with notes of vanilla and baked pastry leads to a rich, textured, palate with opulent spice-poached pear, quince and lemon honey flavours – through to a clean crisp finish.
